Hörmann is already being run by the fourth generation, namely by the grandchildren and great grandchildren of the company founder. The personally liable general partners are Thomas J. Hörmann, Martin J. Hörmann as well as Christoph Hörmann.

In his metalworking shop in Bielefeld, August Hörmann (1886 - 1944), also produces steel doors. Following the war, his son, Hermann (1912 - 1994), re-establishes his father’s business in Steinhagen virtually from scratch.
