Folding / sliding partitions are large room dividers which can be in use or retracted at will, hence giving flexibility of use of a large area such as a hotel conference room, church meeting room, school hall or gym. There are various degrees of acoustic rating hence controlling sound emission through the partition.

Folding/ sliding partitions have multi-bearing rollers to ensure smooth and silent action generally useable by one person on their own. They can incorporate full height pass doors allowing movement between the two areas without fully opening the screens. The partitions can be top-hung only or can use a bottom track in situations where the integrity of the structure above the opening is in question.

Operable walls consist of individual panels suspended from a top track only, with each panel having a top and bottom retractable seal that locks between the ceiling track and floor to achieve the acoustic seal. Operation of the seals is achieved by a simple 90degree turn of the removable locking handle and a variety of stacking options allows optimum use of space. This system provides acoustic performance of between 37 and 53 dB and the results are backed by Independent Acoustic consultants. Panels can have vision panels and pass doors
